Hero Group has developed a powerful dynamic platform that acts as the heart of all of our technology. Extensive integrations with partners combined with our own proprietary development have resulted in a backend that can be adapted to fit any variety of product needs.
Digital Wallet Accounts
Hero Group has elevated the concept of digital wallets and has created a select solution called "Digital Wallet Accounts", where two separate virtual balances are connected via the Hero backend server.
Through this tool, two digital accounts are intrinsically connected respecting a relationship between funder and fundee. The technology is currently being used to connect parents and kids, but this solution has the potential to be used for a variety of purposes where a relationship is imperative, such as employee-employer, company-customer, loaner-borrower, etc.
Budget Management
Spending categories have been helping credit card companies gain insight into the spending behaviours of their customers for years. Hero Group has revolutionized the way these categories are used to offer its customers the ability to allocate money for a specific purpose.
Customers can use the pre-created categories or build their own categories, based on their purchase history. In addition, Hero allows the creation of shopping blacklists, making it possible to prevent spending at merchants related to certain products or services. For example, a parent can block their child from using their card at liquor stores, dispensaries or gambling establishments.
Security & Monitoring
Hero Group has developed controls to provide users with a variety of security functions, with a focus on delivering a fully transparent financial solution.
These controls may be customized to fit a program's requirements. Controls include, but are not limited to:
- Quickly locking and unlocking the use of a card
- Easily replacing a lost or stolen card with limited account interruption
- Receiving real-time notifications of important account activity
- Distribution of funds specific to user-created rules
- Easy redistribution of funds between accounts
Money Transfer Integration
Hero Group has built a cohesive network of well-established companies in the domestic & international money transfer industries.
Transferring money internationally can be bureaucratic and time-consuming, often involving substantial intermediary relationships. Hero has already established trusted partnerships and completed integrations to allow users to quickly and easily transfer money from overseas.
Additionally, for domestic transfers, Hero provides options for credit card payments and electronic transfers.
Hub Solution & APIs
Hero's backend server was designed to be flexible and adaptable to provide services to support both internal and external products.
Frontend APIs allow access to our proprietary features, creating a product hub that can be used by companies across industries such as banking and technology in order to enhance existing products or launch brand new ventures.
Data Management
When user data is collected by our frontend applications and passed through the Hero server, we quickly store, process, and distribute this data to our partners in necessary formats, resulting in our desired user experience.
User information can be collected once and then used to create a variety of capabilities and services tailored to a customer's specific needs.
